Schools' Street Exhibition

An exhibition of over 400 works by students from the five schools in Kanturk parish, displayed in businesses in Kanturk.

Hinterlands

An exhibitions of paintings and photographs by five invited artists, in O'Callaghan's TOYOTA Showroom, Freemount Rd.

Guest of Honour: Mark Condron, Press Photographers Association AIB Photojournalist of the Year for 2009.

  • Presentation of overall Schools' Painting Award

  • 3.00 PM Poetry Reading: Poetry Ireland in association with Kanturk Arts Festival presents a reading in Kanturk Library by Iggy McGovern, and including the presentation of the Schools' Poetry Award and a reading by the winner. Free entry.

  • 3.00 PM Grimms Fairytales: children's theatre for 3-11 year olds. Riverside Bar (upstairs venue). €3.
