One of the highlights of the 2016 Arts Festival was the chainsaw carving demonstration by Will Fogarty of Fear na Coilte Chainsaw Sculptures.
After many coats of oil the Star Gazing hare was finally ready to be installed in it’s new home in O’Brien St Park.
Many thanks to Kanturk Tidy Towns and Kanturk Mens Shed who over the last few weeks dug and laid the foundations and anchored the hare in it’s new home watching the ducks dabbing on the river.
