First – €300

Second – €125

Third – €75

Rules

  • No entry form is needed. Entry is online, or by post if required.
  • The competition is open to writers of any nationality writing in English.
  • There is no restriction on theme or style.
  • Maximum number of words is 1,000.
  • Stories must not have been published previously.
  • The judges’ verdict is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • Stories cannot be altered or substituted once they have been entered.
  • Judging is anonymous. Name and contact details must not appear on the stories. Please use a separate sheet for these details.
  • Entry is taken as acceptance of these rules.
  • E-mail entries to kanturkarts@gmail.com.
  • Post entries to Kanturk Arts Festival, 12 Curragh Court, Kanturk, Co. Cork.
  • Closing date for entries is 22nd January, 2016.
