Short Fiction Workshop with Novelist, Denyse Woods

On Monday, March 19th 2018, as part of Kanturk Arts Festival, novelist Denyse Woods will deliver a workshop on Short Fiction from 2-5pm. Denyse, who has also written as Denyse Devlin, is a Cork-based novelist and the author of six novels. Her novels include the critically-acclaimed Overnight to Innsbruck and bestseller The Catalpa Tree. She recently completed her term as Writer in Residence for Cork County Council Library & Arts Service 2017,  and as the winner of the once-off Hemingway Days Florida Keys Flash Fiction Award, in 2016, she had the opportunity to work in Hemingway’s studio in Key West – the only author to have done so since the man himself. Her novel Of Sea and Sand will be published in Spring 2018. She is also Festival judge for the Adult Flash Fiction Competition 2018.

The fee for the three hour workshop is €30. Places are limited and are on a first come first served basis.
